2024 Scarecrow Trail

Silchester Scarecrow Trail -  - 26th October - 3rd November

The Silchester Association Scarecrow Trail is back for 2024 and we're excited to introduce something new this year - window displays!

This year our theme is 'Fairytales and Fables' and we're looking for local homes, businesses and community groups to

create either scarecrows in their gardens or window displays that bring these magical stories to life.

Whether you're inspired by the enchanting world of classic Grimm's tales or want to give a fable your own spooky twist, we want to see your creativity

There is no entrance fee and all displays should be visible from the road or footpath. We'll provide a letter for you to display with your creation as part of a fun anagram for participants.

Key Dates:  Displays need to be up from 26th October until the 3rd November 2024

To take part in the trail, get your maps at £2 each from the Calleva Arms or the Pop Up Cafe. Maps will also be available in advance at the Village Market on Saturday 5th October
